Where all the rainbows go

Do you know where the rainbows go

There’s a place where the blue skies go

You graced this life for a few short days
With your innocence and smiles,

The birds scattered seeds from the sunflowers growing in our front yard to lots of places we really didnt want them to grow. We pulled up the ones in the worst locations and left the rest. The bees love ‘em.

After we harvested our small crop of potatoes last week Cheryl planted a couple of rows of greenbeans. Its amazing how fast they sprouted and they’re already three inches tall. I’m sitting in our sunroom soaking up the backyard morning sounds: chickens clucking, bees humming and the fountain bubbling. Too bad it’s time to go to work.

takes a lot of coordination to walk blog the same time. speech recognition on the phone is not 100 percent by any means. sometimes it substitutes strange and embarrassing things for the words I really wanted to say. the 20 minute walk was good and I saw some flowers. I found a trumpet vine like my mom has in front of her house in kansas.
